Yasmine Hanna, Staff Writer
Yasmine Hanna is a senior at Amador Valley High School. She decided to take journalism as one of her classes, because why not. At first, she thought it would be all about writing fictional stories in journals. But after the first day, she realized that there’s so much more to it than just writing; it was reporting news, making podcasts, making videos, and more! Hopefully, she can enjoy this class as much as the teachers make it seem fun.
A fun fact about Yasmine is that she’s a black belt in martial arts. She has been doing it since she was in 2nd grade but had to put it on pause when COVID hit. In her free time, she loves to watch anime, hang out with her friends and cousins, and play video games. Yasmine plans on going to the Academy of Art University. She wants to become an interior and architectural designer because it’s something she enjoys, and she would rather eat beans than work a job she doesn’t like for the rest of her life.
