Trisha Khattar, AV Radio EIC
Trisha Khattar ('21) is the AV Radio Editor-in-Chief for the 2020-2021 AV Journalism class. A writer at heart, she started in Journalism as a staff writer the year prior but grew to find her place in podcasting. She’s incredibly excited for the upcoming year and hopes to elevate audio as a true platform for information and entertainment as the year goes on. Her and her fellow partner-in-crime, AV Radio EIC Nina Moothedath, have their own podcast called Break From Reality, in which they analyze and narrate powerful short stories. She is the president of the Amador Writers Ensemble, and a co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of the first inter-school literary magazine named the LightHouse.
Aside from Journalism, she spends her time writing fiction, obsessing over music, and studying for her classes. Trisha loves cats (though she doesn’t actually have one), personalized playlists, and playing board games with her family! Music has been a big part of her life, and you can often find her at 1 a.m. imagining worlds to her favorite songs. After she graduates, she hopes to go to college for something in the liberal arts, though she hasn’t quite figured out what yet. Her hope is to make an impact on people with her words, written or spoken.
