Steven Yang is a third-year Journalism team member in his senior year. When he moved to California in sixth grade, Steven became more interested and involved in politics, the news, and journalism. He likes to be around his friends, and he enjoys having fascinating and thoughtful conversations with everyone. He always appreciates chatting with strangers and learning new things. One day, he dreams of traveling around the world and learning about new cultures!

Other than journalism, Steven also enjoys hiking, playing tennis, learning about chemistry, reading (mostly classics and sci-fi), and spending time with friends and family. However, he strongly dislikes concrete (and hard surfaces in general) because he has a tendency to trip and fall a lot. He sometimes wishes that the Earth can turn into an enormous trampoline! He loves to help others as well, although he sometimes spends way too much time joking around. He always forgets where his phone is, only to realize that he is holding it the whole time, and he likes to dance when he is by himself. In the future, he hopes to pursue a career in physics.
