Senyi Yang, AVtv Editor-in-Chief
Senyi Yang (‘22) is a segment editor for AVTV at AV Journalism. Not only does he enjoy video editing and photography, but he writes frequently and likes journalism as opposed to writing essays and narratives. Senyi hopes to be a more experienced editor and learn more about broadcasting this year. Heis nervous about this year of online learning but is excited about all the opportunities that it might provide.
Senyi likes travelling, although the quarantine has inhibited this hobby, he hopes to be able to get out more now. He enjoys photography and videography as a whole, from nature scenes to urban streets. He plays water polo at Amador and also works as a soccer referee. In his free time, he likes learning new creative software, and is currently working with Blender, Photoshop, and Lightroom. These new techniques are many of the assets that he brings to the Journalism team this year, and Senyi is excited to use them.
