Rohan Prakash, Staff Writer
Rohan Prakash (‘24)– nicknamed “Roro”– is a Junior at Amador Valley High School. This is his first year in Journalism, and he hopes to hone his skills in writing and presenting. Rohan, being a musician, hopes to implement some music culture to AVJournalism. He is already experienced in some journalistic aspects, as he was part of the school media and newspaper in middle school. He also spent a short, but beneficial, time in Amador’s Model UN club, which has offered him experience with public speaking. He hopes to join more clubs throughout the school year, in order to grow his reach.
When Rohan isn’t stressing over school, he is in his home studio, making music. Rohan makes beats, writes lyrics, and he raps– he’s quite great at it too. He releases music under the artist name “NEPTUN3” (on all platforms, you should check it out), and he has been focused on growing his fanbase lately. If it’s not music, you may find Rohan playing his favorite videogame of all time– Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Sure, he finished the game five years ago, but for him, it will never get old. When trying to get active, Rohan will be on the court trying to be good at basketball, or he will be in his backyard lifting weights. In his future, Rohan hopes to pursue a career as a performing artist, and he hopes to soon perform his songs in front of enormous crowds.
