Preston Elliott, Staff Writer
Preston Elliott joined journalism 1-2 in his Junior year, with the intent of having just a free and fun period. He has never taken any class in which he is involved with school leadership, he and looks forward to see a new aspect on this kind of topic. He has no experience within any of the leadership positions of journalism, so he is still deciding which one he will do.
Outside of journalism, Preston is a member of the Amador Valley ice hockey team, in which he plays as a forward. Other hobbies of his include Boy Scouts, which he has almost reached the rank of eagle, and just needs his Eagle project to obtain. One strange hobby he has is that he loves learning about geography. By the time he was in 9th grade, he had memorized every country and their capital. He chose journalism for fun, but his goal after high school is to get a degree in criminal justice and become a police detective.
