Holly Mcbain, Staff Writer
Holly Mcbain transferred into journalism from P.E. on the second week of school in her junior year. During quarantine, Holly found a lot of interest in activism and current politics. At the time, multiple political events and changes were happening. She began to become very opinionated about certain subjects, especially ones who affect her. She spends lots of time hanging out with friends and prefers to be out, which is a change as she used to prefer to spend time alone. She loves her dog more than anything in the world and wants to pursue a career involving animal rescue.
Despite enjoying being outdoors and out with friends, Holly loves a good movie night. She specifically enjoys coming of age movies and horrors. Some of her favorites would be “Nope” directed by Jordan Peele, and pretty much any Jordan Peele movies. She loves spending time with animals, and has always been that way. Anytime she is over at a friends house she goes straight to their pets. One thing about Holly that anyone can account for is that she never charges her phone. Anytime she’s out, you will always catch her complaining about her phones low percentage. She is huge on money saving and hates to see her bank account low. She has no job at the moment, but does pet sitting on the side. She dog sits one certain dog who is an aggressive mix but she believes is completely misunderstood as she only sees the dog as the sweetest creature she’s ever met.
