Giuliana Barthel, Staff Writer
Giuliana Barthel is in her senior year and is a first-time journalism student. Throughout her high school experience, she has established a deep love for writing and developed a greater understanding of politics. Giuliana hopes to also take pictures for the segments created in the journalism class with experience in AP photography. Many of Giuliana’s friends would describe her as very outgoing, energy-filled, as well as being very talkative while engaging in conversations. As she starts the application process into college, she is inspired to major in journalism and minor in marketing. Giuliana hopes to inspire and motivate people through her writing and work in the journalism class.
Aside from academics, Giuliana has a great passion for sports as she has played both lacrosse and soccer for Amador Valley. Not to mention, she works at a cafe and pizza place in Pleasanton throughout the week. Her work in the food industry has led her to find an interest in cooking, even if she isn’t good at it. What’s the difference between a teaspoon and tablespoon anyways? Drawing and painting is one of Giuliana’s favorite hobbies when she has time, which really isn’t a lot. Giuliana can’t wait to be an immense asset to the journalism team.
