Cora Kerton, Staff Writer
Ever since she learned to, Cora Kerton (’24) has loved to write. After switching out of AP Spanish mid-year, Cora chose to add journalism to her schedule. She figured that it would be a good outlet for creativity and a way to meet new people with similar interests. This year, Cora hopes to refine her writing skills, help the AV Journalism team spread important and interesting information, and explore a potential career path.
In her free time, Cora loves doing virtually everything. More than anything, though, she loves to read books across all genres. Working at an independent bookstore helps her satisfy her constant need to learn new things and view the world from different perspectives while reading. She also loves physical activity, captaining her competitive soccer team for 3 years. A massive animal lover, Cora will stop and pet almost any animal she sees. When she’s not reading or hanging out with friends, she’s almost always listening to music or making bizarre and hyper-specific playlists. She is excited to see both what she can get out of and give back to AVJ.
