Zachary Nicholas, AVT Editor-in-Chief
Zac Nicholas (’21) is an Amador Valley Today Editor-in-Chief who is in his second year of the Journalism program! He spent his first year as a Staff Writer, learning the ropes in story-writing, video editing, and infographic designing. What he is most known for, his piece de resistance if you will, is his skill when it comes to reviews. After years of spending way too much time watching movies and extending his culinary palette, he thought this knowledge would never prove useful. Upon joining the journalism team, he was proven wrong.
Apart from food and film, music is another passion for Zac. He collects vinyl, plays guitar(he is always secretly hoping someone will ask him to play something), and even sings a bit. In fact, he won an undeserved Outstanding Improvement award in the school choir. Suck it nerds. He plays soccer year round, spends time with his beloved friends and family, and is a hopeless romantic at heart. That is not a joke, he loves rom-coms. Most of all, Zac simply enjoys making other people happy. If that means baking some cookies, receiving a warm hug from his 6’1 bony frame, or standing outside a window blasting a song out a boombox, he is all for it.
