Mark Zhou, Staff Writer
Mark Zhou is a junior in his first year of journalism, but he wishes that he is still a sophomore because being a junior is too stressful. He has been playing violin and piano for a very long time and loves listening to classical music. Jazz is also very interesting to Mark, and over the last summer, he started making some lo-fi music with his keyboard to try something new. Mark absolutely loves cooking, and he is most proud of the beef wellington he made a while ago. He likes consuming delicious meals and learning about various cuisines, too.
Mark loves snow and its white, fluffy, and gentle nature. Since it doesn’t snow in Pleasanton, Mark skis at Lake Tahoe every winter and hopes to visit very snowy places like Finland or Alaska soon in the future. Mark usually wastes his free time on his phone or YouTube, but in the rare case that he doesn’t, he explores interesting math and physics topics online. Even though he is mostly an introvert, Mark really enjoys being around friends and family.
