Sierra Deaver, Editor
Sierra Deaver is a senior at Amador who always seems to have a different pair of sunglasses each day of the week. This is her first year in Journalism, and although she is nervous, she is eager to be part of the AV Journalism team as a Senior Staff Writer. Besides Journalism, she is involved with a few organizations around campus, like LINK and GSA. She also has a love for spirit days, going above and beyond whenever there is one. If you’ve ever seen someone on campus wearing a purple shirt, gold cape, wizard hat, and assorted purple and gold accessories on Don Deckout days, it’s definitely her.
Outside of school, Sierra has various hobbies, such as piano, reading, video games, watching too much YouTube and art, specifically drawing and digital art. Her dog Gus is her best friend, and she loves him dearly, even though he loves her mom more than her. She has no idea what she wants to do with her life (yet), but plans on going to a college in California. This year her goal is to finish strong, despite the uncertainties online learning brings, along with senioritis.
