Rut Bansal, AVtv Editor-in-Chief
Rut Bansal is a senior at Amador and is an Editor-in-Chief for the journalism broadcast, AVtv. This year is her third year in the program and she absolutely adores it. She’s so excited for this upcoming year and the fantastic content that comes with it. She’s even more excited to be teaching all of the incoming students the best part of journalism (she is in no way biased): video editing.
In her spare time, Rut enjoys politics and government and is a part of Competition Civics this year. She also enjoys baking, as well as making and eating pancakes. She likes to watch TV and hang out with her friends and works in the activism field as a founder and part of two organizations, Students for Social Change and DePolarize. She helps run two clubs on campus and is part of many more. In the near future, Rut plans to attend college and pursue a degree in political science and, later, law.
