Ria Wadmark, Staff Writer
As a new senior, Ria Wadmark is entering her first year in the journalism program. With no prior experience in the realm, she wants to adapt to the bustling environment, as well as possibly introduce a new segment. Always being the curious one, she finds solace in being in front of the camera and speaking with others. Though she may be chatty, she is still able to, on rare occasions, stay silent to indulge each word from her partner in conversation. From a young age, Ria has always been food obsessed, cutting up fruit being a bribing tactic that taught her to walk. With high hopes, she hopes to handle numerous food reviews, trends, and possibly introduce recipes!
Apart from her interest in the journalism world, Ria is a figure skater outside of the classroom, her main sport being a member of a synchronized skating team. A pastime she considers to be therapy is cooking and baking, the creative side of her really being able to shine through her. At home, Ria has the typical white rat dog along with an older brother. She comes of Swedish and Indian descent, so don’t be shy to label her as a Swindian. Later on in life, not only does she wish to accomplish owning a sustainable restaurant or cafe, but also being able to delve deeper into the world of nutrition, wellness, and hospitality.
