Olivia Vukman, Segment Editor
Olivia Vukman is the segment editor of AVJ and loves writing as much as she does editing. She joined journalism after editing for yearbook, and has found she loves videography and editing to make a seamless finished product. Olivia has been published in several poetry books and writes on her laptop and notebook in her spare time. She has had a passion for writing and film since she was a child, and her parents encouraged to pursue it in school and hopefully real life someday.
In addition to journalism hobbies, Olivia has been a competitive ballet dancer for 12 years and is hoping to continue to dance in college. In the winter when she isn’t dancing or in school, Olivia enjoys skiing and drinking hot chocolate with her family. In warmer weather, she loves going to the beach and swimming all day. She has high hopes for this year in Journalism and wants to pursue any kind of writing and/or film education as an adult. She wants to travel the world and be outdoors as much as she can, whether it’s hiking a mountain or cliff jumping into the ocean.
