Nadya Carreira is a junior who has many interests and is excited to pursue them in journalism class. True to her generation, Nadya loves taking pictures of everything and posting them on the internet for everyone to see, and is convinced that with the right lighting every moment is worth remembering. She is excited to put these hard-earned photography skills to use! Since English is her favorite subject and she loves reading in her free time, Nadya is looking forward to writing for the Amadon, or at least attempting to.
Outside of school, Nadya loves to travel, listen to music, hang out with her friends, or sometimes just her dog. She is obsessed with all types of movies and is always looking for recommendations, preferably in the form of crime thrillers, mobster movies, or 90’s rom coms. Nadya will never say no to an opportunity and is always up for trying new things, which is why she thinks journalism will be perfect for her. The flexible schedule and room to create what you want is what drew her in, and she is excited to give it her all.
