This is Maya Ben Yehezkel second year in Advanced Journalism, and she’s excited to be serving as Design and Infographics Editor-in-Chief. She’s grateful to have found a creative way to contribute that she loves, especially through design and AVTV. Outside of journalism, Maya is part of Don Squad, where she enjoys supporting school spirit, making friends, and contributing to campus life. 

She also runs track, competing in sprints, jumps, and relays on varsity last year. In her free time, Maya loves sports, movies, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. Some of her favorite films include The Sound of Music, Cruella, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and Pippi Longstocking. She admires actors Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Hart, and is excited to continue exploring her passion for storytelling, design, and creativity through journalism.
