Maya is now entering her first year in Amador Valley journalism. She is excited and is interested in trying out many of the jobs that there are to offer so that she can see where she contributes the most to the team. Maya has been excited to join this group of people because of the cool opportunities we get, but also the friendships that can be made by people who get to work together on projects. Maya likes to write opinion pieces, design (art), and film (AVTV).

Maya likes sports and has been figure skating for many years. She loves to travel and has been to Costa Rica, Hawaii, Holland, New York, and many other places with her family. She moved to the United States from Israel at age seven and moved to Pleasanton at age ten. Some of her favorite TV series are Brooklyn 99, The Good Place, and she loves Ryan Reynolds movies because she thinks they are really funny. She loves to write and make something that people love and don’t get bored of reading and that they get invested in.
