Liwon Kim, Senior Staff Writer
Having newly joined the Journalism class at the start of sophomore year, Liwon Kim is a fresh face in the news scene. Kim hopes to capture campus life on paper and podcasts alike, and make significant contributions to the Journalism team.
Kim lived in South Korea for the first 6 years of life, then moved to California in the first grade. While struggling to cross the language barrier, Kim developed an appreciation of the English language. With the experience of writing short stories and narratives, Kim delves into journalistic non-fiction writing by joining the Journalism team.
Aside from writing, Kim enjoys sketching, swimming, and chatting with friends. The residence is practically a zoo, with two cats and two dogs, not including the stray cats and wild rodents that often roam the backyard. When there’s time to be spared, Kim visits the library to feed the stray cat that lives near it.
