Lavi Avigad (‘26) is a new member of the AV journalism team as an Editor for the Amadon this year. As this is his first year in to the program, he is excited to write stories, research interesting chronicles, and talk to new people. Since he was young, Lavi enjoyed reading newspapers—even though it’s an odd hobby for an Elementary student—every morning before school. He wanted to make sure he stayed caught up with recent happenings around the world. Outside of School, he enjoys hiking with his family and eating food. He also loves to play basketball with his friends, as he has been playing the sport since 2nd grade. Yearly, he goes skiing in Lake Tahoe, where he’s reckless and unforgiving to the trails. He also partakes in many clubs at the school, like speech and debate and neuroscience club.
