Lauren Tran, AVRadio Editor-in-Chief
Returning for her third year in AV Journalism, Lauren Tran (‘25) is the AV Radio Editor-In-Chief for the 2024-2025 school year. She enjoys running around campus and the Tri-Valley area to cover events and connect with the community. Although Lauren loves making podcasts, she is also interested in expanding her horizons and dabbling in global news, A&E, and filming segments.
Over the past few summers, Lauren has been working as a dental assistant. She enjoys talking with patients, studying procedures, and learning about the latest inventions in the dental field. Lauren also plays softball for Amador and her competitive travel team, and she is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to play collegiate softball. When she is not at the softball field or dental office, she’s hanging out with friends, traveling, trying out new restaurants, or hiking. And because Lauren always underestimates her time, she started a motivational podcast over the summer. She hopes to continue making podcasts as a side hustle and make some cash (once she actually starts posting consistently) while she studies for the DAT in college.
