Entering her first year with AV Journalism, Kiki Yasui (‘26) is excited for all that is to come. With her passion for photography and video production, she is delighted to be learning and working on these subjects for AVTV. She hopes that through AVJ, she can meet more people and create newfound friendships, and learn much more about the world of journalism. Kiki’s love for photography and video editing came from her dad, who throughout her life has taught her all about cameras and editing softwares.

Outside of school, a big part of Kiki’s everyday life is color guard, which she started as a freshman. She is typically seen either practicing with friends or trying new dangerous tricks. Besides that, she enjoys listening to music and occasionally figuring out the notes of songs on her piano and violin. Other times, she can be found outside admiring the clouds and shouting to her friends about how pretty they are.
