Julianna Diwa, Staff Writer
A new addition to the AVJ team, Julianna Diwa (‘24) can’t wait to keep her fellow dons informed and write about the things she loves most: music, films, and the world around her. Whether it’s a long-winded playlist name, a stupid, one-sentence tweet, or even just a good old-fashioned cheesy love poem, Julianna loves to write. She hopes to carry her long-standing passion over into Journalism and learn more about the Amador community while doing so.
When she’s not working on an article, Julianna can be found making an unhinged amount of playlists on Spotify (having over three hundred is normal, right?), reading books (she’s a huge Vonnegut fan), and writing unreasonably harsh movie reviews on Letterboxd (loves Flushed Away, hates Citizen Kane). She runs track for Amador, and despite not being too great, loves the opportunity it provides to meet new people and try new things. She’s a perpetual phone-dropper, adamant Oxford Comma-supporter, unironic Weezer-enjoyer, and accidental plant-murderer, but more than anything, she’s a people-lover, and she can’t wait to connect with many of them through AVJ.
