Emma Luey, Senior Staff Writer
Starting her first year with Amador Valley Journalism, Emma Luey is excited to learn new things and meet lots of new people. She enjoys writing in her free time and hopes to express this through her work in AVJ. She is constantly exploring and discovering new things whether that be learning as many languages as she can on different language apps or attempting to teach herself how to play various instruments.
Emma was born in San Francisco and moved to Pleasanton when she was four years old. At two years old her passion for ballet sparked and she has been dancing ever since. If she’s not at practice she will most likely have her nose buried deep within a good book or hanging out in the garden with her dog Oreo. Despite her filled schedule, Emma participates in the Pleasanton chapter of the National Charity League. This year she is president of the class of 2027. She loves volunteering and trying to make the world a better place!
