In her first year of being a part of Amador Valley Advanced Journalism, Briahna Ma (‘27) is a staff writer for the 2024-2025 school year. Though she is inexperienced, she is excited to learn the thrilling tasks of the program, from writing captivating stories for her school to serving customers as a barista. She hopes to follow the ropes of those around her and become an expert in editing/filming videos and being a part of the school’s podcast.

Briahna enjoys lying in bed napping or snacking on food in her free time. She also likes listening to a variety of podcasts, documentaries, and video essays on an array of topics, which is where her interest and passion for podcasting came from. What’s more, music always somehow finds a way into her life, be it from listening to music or making music in the school’s band program as a saxophonist.
