Isabella Burns is a new addition to the AVJournalism 2024-2025 team. She is excited to write stories and reviews that showcase her love for art and culture. As a new journalist, Isabella hopes to interview fascinating people and learn about her community, putting her newfound knowledge to paper (or Google Docs). From a young age, she knew she was an author. In elementary school, she would sit at the lunch tables and scribble stories. Now, she is published in the Lighthouse Literary Magazine and is a filmmaking partner with Roku and Fremantle. 

In her free time, she tutors elementary school students and helps them learn to read. She also works part-time as a hostess. In her real free time, she can be found reading E.M. Forster or listening to Lana Del Rey. Her true passion is stories; whether by crafting poems, videos, or articles, Isabella loves to be creative and share her perspective.
