Anaita Mistry, AVT Page Editor
Anaita Mistry is an editor for Amador Valley Today, and this is her first year on the AVJ team. As a senior, she is incredibly excited to be back at school, interact with the community, and get ready to go to college. She’s not a Pleasanton–or California–native; she was born and raised in Minnesota but has been living here for 6 years (and yes, before you ask, she loves the weather here, but misses the snow every winter).
Anaita hates running, is terrible at sports, and would much rather spend her day reading new books or eating Italian food (which she loves). She strives to be an erudite, which is why she spends much of her time dedicated to academics–however, she is always ready for a good time! She loves eating at new restaurants, traveling to new places, and learning about outer space (she runs the related school club on campus). When she has spare time she catches up on TV, movies, and the news. One of her favorite movies is Hidden Figures and some of her favorite books include Six of Crows and The DaVinci Code.
