On November 5th, 2024, Amador Valley High School held its annual mock election. This year was exceptionally interesting due to the presidential election between former President Trump and Vice President Harris. Juniors and seniors went with their classes to the library, and filled out ballots consisting of different propositions, School Board members, the mayor, and the President of the United States. The votes were then counted, and results were later posted to school website Amador Valley Today.

Students from the Junior class took time out of their US history class to vote on various topics such as propositions, School Board members, Pleasanton’s Mayor, and the President of the United States. These four students are filling out their ballots carefully toward the back of the library.
