Starbird Chicken, a rapidly growing fast-casual fast food brand , has soared with the opening of its latest location in Pleasanton. It brings it’s “super-premium” fast food experience and consistent atmospheres to the Tri-Valley area.
“The atmosphere was just like the others I’ve been to, kind of relaxed but nice. They have been amazingly consistent with their food quality and customer service [is] great from location to location,” said Dante Ventura (26’).
The Attractions
Its commitment to blending high-quality ingredients with quick service sets Starbird apart. The brand’s promise of food safety attracts health-conscious diners and flavor seekers.
“We follow our recipes to the standards, making sure that the products that we offer are the best. Our food has prime chicken, no antibiotics, and all the sauces are made in-house. We do a lot of prep in the morning…[putting in] time and effort to make sure that the final product when you get a chicken sandwich is the best chicken sandwich out there,” said Pleasanton Starbird Manager Manuel Rocha.
Despite challenges with large crowds, Starbird’s newest location handles what is thrown at them. Their digital ordering system and app integration makes pickup and delivery seamless. This allows customers to order ahead or enjoy their meals in the dining area.
“[It’s a] challenge to handle the volume of people that we get in. At some point compared to last week, we were having, you know, a lot of online orders, people sending orders through the kiosk….people putting in orders like big platters…” said Rocha.
With excellent value in mind, Starbird commits itself to serving good portion sizes. Whether chicken or plant-based food options Starbird guarantees enough food for the price you pay.
“The salads are one of the best things on the menu besides the chicken sandwich. But, you know, I think for what you get, for what you pay for a salad, the size that we offer is a really good, value,” said Rocha.
Prices ranges from around eight to fifteen dollars per item, depending on the order. The location also has a large diversity, from chicken salads to sweet churros.
“I paid around 16 dollars for the 4 tenders, fries, and drink which is pretty fair for the quality of the food and taste compared to its competitors,” said Ventura.
As the brand continues to grow, the new Pleasanton location is swooping in as a local favorite. It offers something for everyone, whether it’s a quick lunch break or a family night out.
