Leland Chung (’24) – 1st Place in Allied Health Statistics

What event did you compete in?

I competed in epidemiology and allied health statistics. For both of these events I took an online test and it was not too bad, it was all multiple choice.

Did you expect to win?

I only wanted/expected to win one event, but I guess I was surprised when I got both. It was nice. My initial reaction was happy — honestly, the most exciting part was how much people were cheering because it feels so nice, and there were a lot of emotions.

How did you prepare for your event?

I quizletted a lot of the terms to help me. I didn’t really study a lot, but it still worked out so I’m glad it happened.

What are your future goals?

I don’t have any specific goals, but I do want to go to the medical field.
