INTRODUCING… your School Site Council student representatives
Last month, the Amador student body voted in four student representatives of each grade level to serve in the School Site Council (SSC), which oversees the school governance process, including the budgeting of funds and monitoring of the Balanced Scorecard/Single Plan for Student Achievement.
Each representative will serve for a one year term, and the council meets every third Thursday of the month at 3:30 P.M. on campus. Our reporters interviewed all four Amador representatives about why they ran for the position, what they hope to accomplish in the council, and what happened at the first council meeting.
