Back 2 School Night, Pigskin, and Principal Fey
Last week was full of engaging events for both parents and students- parents were invited to Back to School Night last Wednesday where they learned more about their child’s in-school schedule and what they do in their classes on a daily basis, while students enjoyed the biggest Pigskin yet last Friday. Additionally, stick with us as we talk about the best addition to the campus this year- Principal Fey!

Rivalry Night, PSAT Semifinalists, and Equestrianism
Rivalry Night ended with the Dons dominating the Falcons. Furthermore, 36 Amador students made it to the Semifinals of the National Merit Scholarship, a position that provides them with a chance to win the coveted scholarship. Lastly, learn more about Rohan Choudary, a young equestrian whose passion for horse-riding stems from his deep love of horses.

2022 Homecoming and Amador “dirtiest campus in district”
Homecoming happened a week ago, and it was something students will likely not forget anytime soon. Also, a PUSD employee has confirmed that Amador Valley High is the dirtiest campus in the district, and Principal Fey tells us why we need to worry about that.

AV Cheer clinic, sophomores taking the PSAT, and Navratri celebrations
Varsity Cheerleading held a clinic teaching middle and elementary schoolers all about the sport of cheerleading last week. Additionally, sophomores took the PSAT last Wednesday and Thursday, and Indian communities around Pleasanton celebrated the end of Navratri, a prominent Indian festival.
