How did you first react when you heard you won the award?

I felt great! I’ll be aiming for even higher awards next time; this was my first time entering! I’m grateful that my piece got recognition.I only entered one piece.

What was your favorite piece you submitted this year?

I only entered one piece: “Shedding Emotions.”

What were the messages or themes you wanted to convey through your piece?

The meaning behind my piece is to highlight the beauty of human emotion. Our emotions and thoughts are the reason we are humans and not another animal. They are wild and unpredictable.
