“My favorite class I’ve ever had at Amador is Biology because the class goes into detail on a lot of really interesting concepts that you don’t really think about normally. But, in Biology you [are able] to think about it and that’s pretty cool. Also, you get to meet a lot of smart people and good teachers. My teacher is Ms. White and she is really awesome."
Caterina Gonzalez (‘24)
“[My favorite class at Amador is Zoology] because I get to learn about a bunch of animals. I really like animals and we get to do projects. [We] get to really learn in depth stuff like the file, the species, and how their bodies work. It’ s really interesting to see revolutionary changes and I’m learning a lot in that class which I really like."
Brandon Huynh (‘24)
“My favorite class is AP Human Geography. I like how applicable the class is [compared] to [the] sort of other classes that I’m in. And in my mind, it’s pretty easy. There are kind of a lot of notes sometimes but we had a test today and I think I did okay. It’s just a super interesting class, the topics are kinda random but it’s really fun to learn about."
Varun Yedavilli (‘23)
"My favorite classes are my honors algebra II with Ms. Allen [in freshman year] and my Cyber Securities class this year with Mr. Hanson. They’re both my favorite because [of] the people around them–everyone’s just so fun. Ms. Allen made math really fun for me, I used to not like math but now math is pretty easy to me. And then Mr. Hanson is just so fun, and everyone around me is so loud, we’re a...

“Engineering is probably my favorite because of its application of science and also creativity which is something I really enjoy. It's a mix of both which is really what I feel like fits me the best and it's great that we have such a good engineering teacher, program, and building. I know not all schools have that. I also really like working with the people in my class, just talking to them,...
Heesul Choi (‘22)
“[My favorite class is] AP Bio [because of] the E. coli labs and stuff like that. You can really see the growth of the bacteria and you can see the change with your own bare eyes, so that was really interesting. Maybe Anatomy [is] also [a favorite class] because of the dissections."
