Pros and Cons
Though this series is meant to show elements of dark humor, I find these funny elements and ending as quite random. I felt like there was an abrupt ending and there should have been more context. Even though the ending was unexpected, it left me unsatisfied and yearning for more.
Furthermore, the explanation of the killer was meant to be funny but it was just confusing and the reasoning was disappointing. One of the other suspects would have made a better killer and would have still allowed for an unexpected ending.
The surprising reveal at the end of one of the characters was one of the best parts of the show. It was a great reveal, and I felt like it created a happy ending for Anna’s relationship.
Verdict
All things considered, this series is an easy watch and the great acting from Kristen Bell makes the climax more exciting and thrilling. Despite some disappointing plot choices, it is still quite entertaining. If you like watching thrilling series and enjoy dark humor, this might be the series for you!
